I love a glass of wine with dinner. Generally, I prefer white over red but if I’m having beef I could go either way. Otherwise, my knowledge on the subject is very limited.
For me, this month has been all about research. I’m working on a new project, in which my heroine has decided to become involved with a wine maker. Fancy that!
I been reading and drinking my way through January. Gotta say, it hasn’t been half bad :) Catch me on the Avalon Authors Blog page where I talk about “The Honeymoon Period,” on the 23rd January.
Otherwise, I definitely have big plans for 2010. New blogs, new books, new manuscripts and a new editor at Avalon. Watch this space, for all my writing adventures!

This month I took time out to examine where my latest manuscript was going.
For a while now I’ve felt like I’ve been writing through fog. Generally, I like the mystery but this month I had too much. I spent some time thinking about the title, the timeline and the personalities of the characters. It really helped. My focus has returned.
Check out my blog called "Picking the Right Title" for more details

May has been a busy month for me with more fun still to come.
The RWA Romance Roadshow hits Perth on the 24th May. I will be attending this full day conference and am really looking forward to it. If you’re interested in attending, I hear there are places still available.
My new working title for “Building Bridges” is “Constructive Criticism.” Hopefully, this time the title sticks. Happily, completing chapter six at the moment.

Exciting news! A manuscript I completed last year is being considered by an American publisher. Can’t wait to see how that pans out.
On the more mundane, currently writing chapter four of “Building Bridges.” I am finding this manuscript particularly challenging because it’s in first person. I love the immediacy but some scenes can be difficult when I can only show one point of view.
Hope everyone had a great Easter!

This week I launch my brand new website. Very excited. Also tired. Html code is so temperamental. Or maybe that's just my inexperience talking.
I have also started work on an outback romance tentatively titled, “Building Bridges,” set in the Pilbara. I'll probably be focused on this manuscript for most of the year.
